Under Dion, Libs at 35% in Quebec

...just behind the Bloc at 37%, with the Tories down to 17% of votes, followed by the hapless NDP at 6%.

Thanks to Paul Wells for this. He translates a Presse canadienne story re. a Leger Marketing poll conducted last weekend.

Wells concludes his blog post thusly:

The Liberals have thus gained 9 points in voter intentions in only a week, whereas every other party has lost ground in the same period.

Unelectable in Quebec, eh? Cough...cough...cough

Let's see if this is a genuine rise in the polls or if this is just a bounce from the convention before be begin to pop the champaign corks.
